short BIOGRAPHY

Hello! Welcome to my little niche on the vast internet. I am a geophysicist at a major oil company in New Orleans, LA.

I attended the University of Missouri-Rolla between January 1994 and May 1998. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in geophysics from UMR. My Master's thesis was out of the ordinary and was titled "The Application of the Ground Penetrating Radar Technique to the Detection and Delineation of Buried Homicide Victims and Evidence.

You can visit the University of Missouri-Rolla's Department of Geology and Geophysics homepage by following this link.

I grew up in a small central Missouri town called Waynesville. The town's population was about 5000 and the main driving force was the Fort Leonard Wood Military Base. I graduated high school in Rolla, Missouri where I subsequently went to college.

Mustangs

I love Ford Mustangs! My father and I used to restore classic Mustangs. I had a 1966 Mustang Coupe, 1968 Coupe, and a 1985 GT. My dad's first project was a 1965 Convertible. He just finished a replica of a 1966 AC Cobra. This is a close representation of his car. Another one of my favorite types of Mustangs is the 1966 Shelby Mustang GT-350 Fastback. I would really like to find a 1965 or 1966 Mustang Fastback with a C or A code 289 engine. If I can find it for a decent price, I can begin the restoration. If anybody knows of any fastbacks for sale, please email me.

The Big Piney River

Nestled within the Ordovician dolomite of the Gasconade and Roubidoux Formations in central missouri is the beautiful Big Piney River. This river originates from several springs in Texas County, MO and ends up dumping into the Gasconade River in Pulaski County. During my elementary school to high school years, I spent 80 percent of my time on this crystal clear Ozark wonder. My best friend, Shane McKelvey's parents owned a resort on the Big Piney River in Duke, Missouri (population 25...no kidding!). Over the years, this river and area became a big part of my life. I plan on building a cabin and retiring in the Big Piney Valley. Click here to learn more about the area and see some really cool pictures.

This brings us to my favorite pasttime of ALL time...fishing. I live, eat, and breathe fishing. Click on the animated fishing gif to take yourself to my fishing page.
